From the moment I met David I knew; I remember looking at him during our fitness consultation thinking this guy may know what he’s talking about. I knew right away that he took his craft seriously. I loved that! He started talking about things that I’d never been introduced to; like macros. I’m thinking, what are macros and who counts those? David did. When I came to David, I had already committed to personally changing my life habits. I’d already been working out coming up with my own programs. I have personally known David since 2012. I will preface this testimonial by noting that me and David are extremely close as friends and have been working out and training together for the last 7 years. With that aside, David is also my coach and has helped me accomplish more than I ever thought possible within the world of fitness. He has helped me transform from an average “meathead” lifter into somebody who will be competing for state powerlifting records later this year. In the last four years, he has prepped me for two NPC men’s physique shows and is now prepping me for my first ever powerlifting meet. These preps have all included detailed diet plans, workout plans, peak week protocols, and everything in between. These plans were all fully customized, easy to understand, and included videos of any unfamiliar or unique exercises. If David couldn’t find a video of someone else doing it, he performed the exercise himself and sent it to me. There is simply no way I could have successfully come into either of those two shows without David’s guidance on dieting and training. My ever-changing goals within my own personal fitness speaks to David’s versatility to handle pretty much any goal that you might have, whether it be competing in powerlifting or losing weight so that you look and feel better than you ever have before. There is literally no goal that David cannot help you achieve when it comes to fitness related endeavors. If he doesn’t understand a concept or have a solution for your problem, he will research it until he better understands the situation. I can personally attest for David’s passion to never stop learning and to constantly strive to find the best solution for each person’s unique individual needs. In addition to his flexibility and versatility, David is one of the most professional people I have ever come across and in an industry ripe with scams and cookie cutter programs, it’s reassuring to know that I am working with somebody who truly cares about my success and will work all the hours needed to help me reach my goals. In the last four years, David has never missed a check-in with me, never missed sending me updates to my diet or training, and never ignored a text or call. In fact, David is usually weeks ahead in terms of my training protocol and is more than willing to make any necessary adjustments even after the program has been written. At 53 years old, I’ve worked with more than a handful of trainers, but none as educated and attentive to my needs as David. I came to David in middle age after some health issues had taken its toll on my body and confidence. I was ready to get back in shape. David listened to my goals and reviewed my physical limitations and produced a program specific to me that completely met my needs. His program includes diet, cardio and strength training. Because I’m some distance from David, we settled on a combination of internet based training with two one-on-one sessions a month. We settle on sort term goals and discuss how we’re going to get there. He gives me a monthly program telling me what to do, and with daily check-ins he makes sure that I do it. The program is not cookie cutter but is tailored exactly to my ability and goals. After working with David for just one year, I look and feel 10 years younger. I met David back in 2015 through a referral from a coworker. I’ve been lifting weights most of my life just to stay healthy. After turning 40, I decided I needed a change and more direction with my goals. I started with a fitness consultation and one-on-one personal training with David two times per week. Within the first three months I was able to achieve my physical goal of losing fifteen pounds. David explained to me that goals can be broken up into different cycles depending on where I am in life. Where do I start! I approached David one day in my condo building after he finished training another client. I said I had a few fitness and health questions. He informed me that he had limited time but would try to help. We ended up exchanging contact info, where I emailed him my remaining questions. The next morning I was shocked to find an email answering my questions with his thoughts on each and also attached related links to articles and medical studies. After having my 2nd child, I tried to go to the gym to get the baby fat off but it wasn’t working. I then joined a girlfriend at Orange Theory for a few months with little to no success because of the commute and traffic. A friend of mine mentioned he had a trainer that came to his condo building 3x per week and never missed a session. I gave David a call to set up a session. Within just one session, I knew that he was the guy that was going to help me get my body back to where it was prior to having my children. Hey everyone my name is CJ. I first met David at a powerlifting meet. It was my first meet and I did not know what to expect, I did not have a coach, I just like to lift heavy weights. David was coaching another athlete in my flight, he could tell I was struggling a bit in the warm-up room. He then reached out and asked if there was anything he could do to help me. For the rest of the day it was like I had him as a coach from warm-ups to handing the bar off on benchpress, to helping me with picking final attempts on deadlifts.
After the meet he recommended that I get a coach for the next meet prep. I ended up hiring David for the next six months of training and another meet. He not only taught me the basics and fundamentals of powerlifting, he also taught me how to find my weaknesses on each lift and improve upon that. I was able to get personal best on all my lifts at the next competition. I highly recommend his services for any level of lifter. He is a very straightforward and honest guy. I want to start by saying David is one of the hardest working and most genuine people I’ve ever met my life. I work in corporate sales and travel all year. David was able to accommodate all of my travel for work while helping me lose almost 40 pounds in just six months! When he told me it was going to be tough but he would help simplify each step of the process I knew I had found the right guy. He checked in with me several times every week, asked what the future plans for traveling were so that he could plan ahead for meals and work out for each city I went to. He made a small Amazon list for me to purchase items to have with me during my travels. He recommended meal prep companies when I knew I would be in the city for several days. Also found the restaurants near my hotel with several healthy food options when I did not have access to a mini fridge. He went above and beyond what I was expecting when I started working with him. David coached a gymnastics camp at my CrossFit gym in Tampa. My main goal at the time was to get a muscle up on the rings. I hired him for private lessons to speed up the process. He was able to teach me all the drills and show me ways to improve my flexibility to make the skill easier. His gymnastics background gives him a different view on a muscle up versus the typical CrossFit coach. I found it to be very unorthodox at the beginning but was able to achieve a muscle up in just two sessions with him after chasing it for nearly a year. I have been training with David for the last 6 months. I have worked hard and with his tremendous help I have gotten in the best shape of my life. I am 30 years old and have never been overweight by any means. But do feel like I am skinny fat. I have worked with other trainers before and tried tons of programs to get the lean muscle mass I have always wanted. I have jumped leaps and bounds in my physique progress. I actually have pecs now and I can see my abs peaking though. It is an incredible feeling looking at your body transform before your very eyes. Not only have I seen this transformation but tons of people around me have noticed and I am constantly getting compliments and being asked what I am doing. I never thought I would have strangers at the gym come up to me to ask for advice, but that has even started to happen. It is an amazing feeling when strangers are asking and complimenting your body.
Of course, you have to put in the work, what you put in you will get out of it, there is no magic signing up with David and your body will transform automatically. You have to do the workouts and follow your nutrition plan. But David is always available to help further explain a workout, change up a workout when you don’t feel comfortable with it, or help provide encouragement when you are getting frustrated. Because we will have days when we get frustrated. David is such a sweet guy who helps you achieve your goals and truly does care about your health and well-being. He wants to see you meet your goals just as much as you want to achieve them.
I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer to help me through my journey. I am so excited to see where I will be in another 6 months.

Being in the gym often on for 10 years, I know my way around the weight room. I was always going back-and-forth with my body weight.
